Is the 2024 Traverse Changing?
Yes the 2024 Traverse is changing, and the changes are exactly what we have been wanting! The Traverse has been completely redesigned and has received a new Z71 off-road trim. Although exact numbers and figures have not yet been released for the new Traverse, the design has already been released.
Along with most of Chevrolet’s updates this year the new Traverse forgoes its more classy look from previous generations and goes for a more athletic and sporty look similar to the new Trailblazer and Trax. On top of an incredibly stylish upgrade, an absolutely massive infotainment screen has been added that is 17.7 inches long on the diagonal and is rumored to come as standard on the trims.
Beyond that there will no longer be a High Country or Premier trim and the RS trim will be the top tier trim. The grille has also been updated and now takes styling cues from the redesigned Silverado and looks more rugged and sporty at the same time. The engine is a 2.5 liter four cylinder that can be paired with either front wheel or all wheel drive.
How much is the 2024 Traverse going to cost?
The 2024 Traverse exact prices have yet to be released, but Car and Driver has released an estimate on what the 2024 prices could look like. They have the LS trim starting around $39,000 and climbing up to $52,000 for the RS trim.
Since the trims have been completely revised and with the introduction of the Z71 we do not think they will mirror 2023’s prices closely and they will be fairly different. Once more is known about the 2024 Traverse and its exact prices we will update this space detailing exactly what the prices will look like and exactly what you can expect to see on the trims.
Is the 2024 Traverse Bigger?
No, the 2024 Traverse is not exactly bigger, but it seems to have utilized its space better. Chevrolet claims the Traverse has the best in class space, with the Traverse being the same length, width and height. We are excited to see exactly how spacious the interior will be. Even Edmunds remarked that the Traverse is impressively spacious, with Car and Driver reporting similar. Although the Traverse may not be bigger, it still is our preferred method to haul families around, as we will take this SUV over any minivan out on the road.
