Highlights
The 2023 Dodge Charger is a 4-door muscle car with a nostalgic racing stripe design that can seat 5 adults. With plans to go electric in 2024, this year will most likely be a wind down rather than a full redesign so we don’t expect a lot of changes. Based on what we saw in 2022, here’s what we think the 2023 Dodge Charger will look like.
Trims
The starting price is currently estimated at $32,000.
- SXT
- GT
- R/T
- Scat Pack
- Scat Pack Widebody
Power
The 2023 Dodge Charger offers a base 3.6-liter V-6 that produces 292 horsepower and gets 19/30 mpg. A 5.7-liter and 6.4-liter V-8 is also offered, making 717-797 horsepower and 16/25 mpg and 15/24 mpg respectively. All-wheel drive is available and they are all paired to an 8-speed automatic transmission. An updated electric power steering system was also added to help with composure on the road.
Interior
Designed for practicality over luxury, the 2023 Dodge Charger has a simple design with rubberized materials. Reportedly, legroom is better than some rivals but seating is still slightly cramped. Cargo space is measured at 16.5 cubic feet along with some storage in the center console.
Tech
We hope to see some additions or upgrades such as physical controls and more standard features like wifi or wireless charging. For now, we estimate to see the following based on what we saw in 2022:
- Uconnect infotainment system
- 7-8.4-inch touchscreen
- Apple carplay/Android auto
Safety
- Available blind-spot monitoring & rear cross-traffic alert
- Available lane departure warning with lane keep assist
- Available forward collision warning
Conclusion
While we don’t expect a whole overhaul, we do hope to see some slight upgrades for the 2023 Dodge Charger. Whether it's some added driver-assist features or improved power, we’re eager to see what Dodge has in store. Stay tuned for more details.
