Highlights
The 4-door, 5-seat 2023 Dodge Charger is a muscle car with throwback racing stripes. Since there are plans to move to electric vehicles in 2024, we don't anticipate major changes this year; instead, it will likely be more of a wind-down than a complete overhaul. As of now, we are aware that the car will have "last call" inscriptions underneath the hood and that popular paint hues like Plum Crazy and Sublime Green will be back. Based on what we witnessed in 2022, this is our forecast for the Dodge Charger in 2023.
Trims
- SXT: $35,000
- GT: $37,000
- R/T: $43,000
- Scat Pack: $50,000
- Scat Pack Widebody: $55,000
Power
The standard engine for the 2023 Dodge Charger is a 3.6-liter V-6 with 292 horsepower and 19/30 mpg. A 5.7-liter and 6.4-liter V-8 with 717-797 horsepower and 16/25 mpg and 15/24 mpg, respectively, are also available. All of them come with an 8-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. Additionally, a modernized electric power steering system was incorporated to aid in maintaining composure on the road.
Interior
The 2023 Dodge Charger sports a straightforward design with rubberized materials that is more utilitarian than luxurious. A middle console offers clever cubbies for extra storage, including a place for your smartphone. Legroom reportedly exceeds some competitors, but sitting is still a little claustrophobic. 16.5 cubic feet are designated as the cargo space.
Tech
So far, this is all we have been told to expect in the technology department:
- Uconnect infotainment system
- 7-8.4-inch touchscreen
- Apple carplay/Android auto
Safety
- Available blind-spot monitoring & rear cross-traffic alert
- Available forward collision warning
- Available lane departure warning with lane keep assist
